Shannon, you can keep your blizzard! That year Steve and I came up in April there was a late snow, prolly about 3 feet still on the ground...thought Steve was going to hit the wall he had never seen so much snow before! He was born and raised in Atlanta so 3 flurries is a blizzard to him! Ha!

Oh, Sam would have loved the digging out of snow tennis ball game! Wish we had thought of it! Snow is already completely gone here, maybe next South Carolina snow blizzard!

What a great story! Quite the eventful night for you and I am so glad you were able to make the most of the disappointments. Of course, it is hard for me to have too much sympathy for you given that I live in MINNESOTA where I am currently gazing at an 8 foot tall snow drift.

I remember the first time our pup experienced snow: she was just a few months old and half way up the block tried to shimmy up my leg. I ended up putting her inside my jacket. These days she just joyfully bounces around in the snow no matter how cold. Her favorite game is burying a tennis ball in the snow and digging it out, over and over and over.

Of course, I give you credit for the title! I was going to call it, Snow Storm of 2010, which sounded awfully boring.

Most of our snow here is melted, there are a few patches here and there. The ground is soggy and muddy now.

Hugs to you, dear sister. (For readers that do not know, Rocky was Pam's dog.)
